Havant campaigners accept Albert Ingham award

Faith Ponsonby and Susan Stocker accept the Albert Ingham award from Simon Hughes MP on behalf of Havant Lib Dems

Havant Liberal Democrat, Ray Cobbett, has won the Party's prestigious 'Albert Ingham Award' for his stewardship of the county council by-election campaign in Battins and Bondfields.

The award - named after a stalwart Liberal Party Chief Agent - is given each year to recognise a well run and successful campaign.

Ray was agent for the County Council by-election late last year which saw a massive swing of more than 30% from Labour as Lib Dem Ann Buckley romped home.
