Liberal Democrats - Winning for Hampshire

Learning for life

12.44.49am UTC (GMT +0000) Sun 10th Apr 2005

Liberal Democrats are committed to providing first class education for children in Hampshire. But we also believe learning is a life-long process. We will:

  • Increase the number of behaviour support staff by a quarter to improve classroom behaviour to make a better learning environment for all children

  • Restore funding for life-long learning programmes cut under the Conservatives

  • Spend an extra £1/4 million on library books
