The NHS in Hampshire is facing a cash crisis

Local NHS chiefs have warned that health services could be cut if a funding crisis is not addressed.

NHS Trusts across the Hants & Wight region are £50 million in debt. And the NHS body covering our region gets less to spend on health care than the national average - making the problem worse.

Health services in Hampshire are suffering because Labour has failed to ensure that extra NHS money is spent where it matters - in treating patients. And cuts in services could follow next year if the county's health trusts are to meet Government spending targets.
