Fair deal for older people11.08.17am UTC (GMT +0000) Wed 9th Feb 2005 Liberal Democrats want a better deal for older people. The Lib Dems are part of the Government in Scotland where free personal care has been introduced. The party wants to see the policy extended across the UK. In Hampshire, the Conservatives have been forced into a U-turn by Liberal Democrat pressure.
