Liberal Democrat County Councillor Brian Dash says Hampshire Conservatives have let down those most in need.

Conservatives on Hampshire County Council have defeated plans to improve services for those most in need.

Liberal Democrats proposed that all the money given to the Council for Social Services should be used to increase funding for services such as care for older people.

But both Conservative and Labour Councillors failed to back the moves.
