The Liberal Democrats are a growing force right across Hampshire.

Another recent election win has shown that the Lib Dems are the only serious challengers to the Conservatives across the County.

Voters in Rowlands Castle elected Marge Harvey as their District Councillor in September. Marge scored a clear victory over the Conservatives. Labour failed to put up a candidate.

The full result was:

Marge Harvey (Lib Dem) 597 (58.3%)

Conservative 427 (41.7%)

Lib Dem Majority 170

Turnout 49.3%
